CULTIVATING WHOLENESS THROUGH AGRARIANISM.

CULTIVATING WHOLENESS THROUGH AGRARIANISM.

Shining Mountains Farm Consulting offers help in all stages of your process of managing or creating new programs on your land from initiating design/redesign to optimizing long established operations. My goal on any property is to consider all aspects of the property, people, politics and wildlife to create a definition of success and a plan to achieve that. There is a lot of opportunity to improve the health of our ecosystem, community, and our global climate through land management practices. I help land owners and operators to understand what good stewardship looks like and how it can fit into their operations on a property.

Services

  • Concept creation

Transform broad ideas into a refined vision, and align intentions and desires with place, resources and budget. Through this process, we determine the best use of a property or pieces of it based on the natural and personal factors involved.

  • Systems design

Integrate influential factors (such as land characteristics, climate and microclimate, wildlife, economic and mechanic resources available, etc.) using a methodology that focuses on the interaction between and integration of all relevant factors.

We collaborate with key stakeholders (architects, land owners, contractors, neighbors) to design a system that values all interrelated elements comprising a unified whole and prioritizes the interaction of all such elements.

  • Systems integration

Identify and work with current systems and their relationship to other systems to create efficiencies and synchronicity between them.
